Darah, Kpangban, Oyibode, Sakpra, Eyuren, others receive Udu-Ughievwen awards
The Udu-Ughievwen Peoples’ Association in Abraka has honoured the member of DELSU Governing Council, Prof Godini Gabriel Darah; former Dean of Education, Prof Emperor Kpangban; Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Olorogun Vincent Ogjeneruemu Oyibode JP; Chairman of the Delta State Board of Small and Medium-Scale Businesses, Hon Henry Afure Sakpra; Acting Chairman of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Delta State University (DELSU) chapter, Chief Comr Matthew Ovedje Eyuren; and others with merit awards.
The awardees were honoured by the Association on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at the Prof FMA Ukoli Senior Staff Club, DELSU, Abraka in recognition of their love and commitment to the unity, economic and sociocultural development of Udu and Ughievwen Kingdoms.
Responding on behalf of the awardees, Olorogun Oyibode thanked the Association for the honour, urged them to support the Government of the Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori and promised to continue to support the development of the Udu and Ughievwen Kingdoms.
